🇫🇷 La Ligne Maginot Aquatique a façonné la Lorraine, pays de mon enfance. 6 étangs artificiels ont été créés durant la seconde guerre mondiale pour inonder la région en moins de 36h. Le passé militaire, mais aussi religieux et industriel de ce territoire est toujours présent dans les villages désormais paisibles. C'est aussi là que j'ai grandi.
🇺🇸 The Maginot Aquatic Line shaped Lorraine, the land of my childhood. 6 artificial ponds were created during World War II to flood the region in less than 36 hours. The military, but also religious and industrial past of this territory is still present in the now peaceful villages. This is also where I grew up.
